Silversmithing Classes

Silversmithing Classes in the Village of Autignac 34480 October 2010.

Irish silversmith Brian Clarke, will be running two classes entitled Anticlastic Raising & Silversmithing Techniques.

Anticlastic Raising: This is a Jewelry technique which enables one to make beautiful sinuous and organic forms with relative ease from sheet metal.

Silversmithing Techniques: This class teaches students how to make hollow forms with the minimum of tools and with good control.

Lerab Ling is holding a cycle of meditation weekends and retreats. Each weekend and retreat will offer a complete instruction for beginners and will also deepen a specific topic.

A recommendation for a DRY STONE WALLING course from Lizzie of the Couvent in Roujan


Ali and I have just completed a three day dry stone walling course which was truly excellent. There were six students and an extremely kind and knowledgeable teacher. There are two more weekends coming up and we can't recommend it highly enough. It is very hands-on and well explained. The price is 120 euros per person and one would need reasonable fitness and French - even better with a bit of building French. All the others on our course were French and the prof doesn't speak English.
