Holiday Home Available for Rent near Pezenas:
Le Pigeonnier de Senaux is a large farmhouse situated amongst the vineyards of the
surrounding countryside. A large swimming pool (exclusive use) and the large garden means there are many areas to sit and relax. The property is a kilometre from the nearest village of Roujan.
There is always plenty to do - whether it be simply lazing in the garden or in the pool, or more energetic pursuits like shopping in Beziers / Montpellier or going wine tasting in the local vineyards.
Le Pigeonnier de Senaux is right in the middle of one of the most popular holiday destinations in France, combining beach, mountains and countryside. 30 kilometres (Half an hour away) is the idyllic port town of Marseillan, often described as St Tropez of fifty years ago.
If you're into cycling you couldn't pick a better spot. There is a gruelling but splendid circuit from the house that takes about an hour and takes you up into the mountains past a local goat farm where you can stock up on some cheese before cycling home again. The garden boasts several seating areas and a large swimming pool.

The Swimming Pool
The pool is quite large 8 metres by 4 metres is bio-oxygen cleaning system (no chlorine) solar heated. The depth is from 5 feet to 8 feet deep.
Other facilities include: Cable TV, Telephone, Internet Access, Central Heating, Large Barbeque, Washing Machine, ironing board, and iron.
Towels and linen included with maid service on (changeover day -Saturday).
Prices for a week July / August - £1,850 per week

The closest airports are Beziers Airport (34 kilometres 25 minutes away via D15) and Montpellier - Méditerranée Airport (MPL), 34130 Mauguio, France (76 kilometres 45 minutes via A9).
Car Hire is essential
The small village of Roujan is only one kilometre away,
“Roujan is as old as the hills that lie nearby (the Haute National Park de Languedoc is close to the village), and there is a real sense of past times as you walk the narrow cobbled streets with their ancient stone arches overhead. The houses are resplendent in traditional shades of sand, cream and terracotta, and the main street offers a pleasant selection of bars, cafés, restaurants and shops.”
It takes less than half an hour to reach the coast, and here there is also the unique environment of the Bassin de Thau to experience too, with its amazing wildlife and vegetation. The Mediterranean beaches offer many water sports and beach activities, and the coastal towns are well equipped with leisure facilities. Inland, there is a lovely leisure lake where you can swim, fish, or simply soak up the southern sun and enjoy the tranquillity. Also available locally are horse-riding, cycle hire, tennis, boules and many other sports.
While it is 7 kilometres from the picturesque village of Pezenas, 25 minutes from Beziers and 35 minutes from Montpellier.”
